I regret to announce that Xtravo OS service has shutdown again. This time, we tried to keep the project alive and also that we saw more users using it daily but however things were not going well, when it comes to privacy.
Xtravo OS had more than 6000 users registered and more than 1000 users used it daily but turns out that users were saving/uploading illegal content which is not allowed at all. We fight against all activities which harms the internet and so that we had to do. Some Users were saving/uploading content which was used for wrong activities. Activities included selling of licensed programming free scripts, explicit content, storing 8.9 MB/avg video size and then using it for download in different computers and misusing the service as overall.
Jawoco respects privacy and always will but it will make sure that users browse in the safe environment. Xtravo OS was a safe operating system but increase of wrong users actually placed threat to our other users. For the safety of our users, we hence had to format and remove this service effective immediately.
Jawoco has formatted and cleaned all the Xtravo OS files. We have no user data available, anywhere in our server.

Jawoco Xtravo
Xtravo service has shutdown and all it’s servers have been formatted. All User data is now nowhere available which was uploaded by the users.
However, we apologize for inconvenience. Soon we will be posting a blog, where CEO will be explaining the hap hazard shutdown event and when Xtravo OS is going to make it’s first commercial release.

Today, we have lots of new things and also new way to get online privately. Its been long since there has been any proper company entering in the market which does exist but no one is actually catering to them. Officially, this is a sad thing what I thing because its just like you are not caring for what people would love , so that’s why we are here to tell the audience/users/consumers that we have what it takes to make in love with our products.

Today, we will be kind of endorsing one industry which is actually a sub-industry on the internet but never ever given value, respect or you can say worth that it should. People mostly regard it as mischievous tool but Jawoco calls it respect for Privacy!
Users can go to jawoco.com/surf surf the web via our servers and can browse privately. We also guarantee that via our system, we will be making sure illegal activities are not being done and also that users can feel free where they browse. Surf is the 1st Proxy server based service ever endorsed by any technology company and we can guarantee security and privacy for our users and not that we only say but we will. This Surf project in this year will be also bundle with Xtravo as a integral built-in service.
Surf service is available to everyone and every country and however since in many country certain websites are banned due to their laws, Jawoco however will not be blocking any website. It will load websites 3x faster and full privacy control with the system.
Jawoco now comes to an end of this Blog-ference event of 2012 and making sure that I will see you again on this event again. Next time blog-ference will be held in summers and also it will be vdo-ference event. This will be the last Blog-ference.

Xtravo 6.1 version has rolled out yesterday and this time user can select the application with or without bundle, which is inbuilt in the setup file.
Xtravo Web Browser update although rolled out to all users and this time all users with the update were enrolled in the semi-bundle package where users homepage on Internet Explorer will set to Jawoco Homepage. The reason why all users are enrolled into this semi-bundle package is because Jawoco License for previous Xtravo v.5 was that users will automatically have Jawoco Homepage as default in their IE but due to privacy and License issue until resolved.
Anyhow, users of Jawoco using Xtravo may have gotten a update with the semi-bundle also that Xtravo 6.3 is schedule for Jan 2012 and we are going to bring a total different update system which will be 2x faster than our previous system.

Jawoco has done a facelift on it’s homepage which brings major improvement in speed and this also marks that Jawoco will not need any further improvement in speed until 2013. Along with this, adbrite advertisement is now removed from it’s homepage to bring more simplistic look and attract users for it’s clean interface.
Improvement also comes to the Facebook plugin, being used by Jawoco. The plugin now only shows number of likes by users and also that the facebook plugin is shifted to a light version by Jawoco Developers. This will make the plugin load faster upto 3x compared to other websites on the internet.
Interesting part is that over 200 users have joined Xtravo OS platform, when Xtravo OS link appeared on the homepage. Xtravo OS is going to have over 800 users, without any publicity and keeping in mind that Jawoco have not yet made any public announcements for it’s full-time release but yet Xtravo OS application for windows was out silently and then made offline after 2 weeks.

Happy Birthday To Xtravo !
We are today celebrating the birthday of Xtravo along with a major announcement for Xtravo Fans and Analyst, who are waiting for us to announce today or should I say “Xtravo 7 release!”
Firstly, this blog is not going to be conducted by Imran Sheikh (CEO/Founder) due to his health conditions currently. I wish he could have conducted this blog by himself, since the Creator himself announces such good news and developments regarding his company but anyhow, today I, Lewis Anderson (Lead Developer @Xtravo 7) will announce the future of Xtravo.
Most of the users who are currently using Xtravo 5 are happy regarding the improvements made but some Analyst say we are cutting back features to improve the performance of the web browser at it’s best. I wouldn’t agree with that since, Jawoco main concern has been, to listen to the voice of online users and according to them we work and develop are products.
First I would like to announce some Fun Facts about Xtravo Web Browser:
1) Since Nov 12 Xtravo had 200 million downloads worldwide (Without Marketing.)
2) Xtravo 5 currently used by 30 Million users as default
3) Xtravo used as alternative by 50 million users (Opening Xtravo once a week.)
4) Xtravo 5 got upgraded to over 100 million users and including vendors.
5) Xtravo 6 will soon release as 64bit for Windows Platform.
Coming towards the major announcement for this year is, Xtravo 7 as of today will be under development. Now what if we say, ‘we will build Xtravo all over again’?
YES! We are going to build Xtravo 7 but it will a web browser redesigned from the core. Xtravo will be using open source platforms and also that it will be powered by Webkit Platform. Our current test conducted on Xtravo 7, confirms that it does support CSS3, HTML5, Acid 123 and passes the sun-spider JavaScript benchmark test.
Rendering engine of Xtravo 7 will be 2x faster than Chrome and 3x faster than Firefox. Features of Xtravo 7 will not be disclosed until next year but we are going to be blogging about it’s progress and features which will be introduced. This is going to be a major shift of platform from Jawoco’s tetrapod technology to Webkit Powered.
2012 will be the major year for Xtravo and specially for Xtravo Fans because next year, we are going to be change the landscape of web browsing.
So far Xtravo 6 launch is concerned, it will be releasing later this year and it will release in 2 versions (32bit and 64bit).

Dear Users, Fans & my Fellow Netizens,
Welcome to my Second blog after 1.5 years. I know it seems like it’s been long time and literally it has been long since I posted any blog for Jawoco or even for myself at this point. It’s twitter who must be blamed because their micro-blogging service is good and more fun since i don’t need to write much to say what I want.
Okay! Now lets be serious a bit and let me tell you about Jawoco’s survival from the Behemoth (Personal Name For Them). Before, I start out and tell you about some information, I would like to tell you that certain and at this point I won’t be disclosing much information but yet will explain the situation that you can understand and also I won’t name the Organization/Person personally since nor I am interested to share them with you neither I see a point in mentioning them.
Good News! Jawoco now will help National Security at certain level where the company will be free and willing to share what they want to National Security people. It’s every search engine in the world like Google, Bing, Ask, Dogpile, Infospace, Yahoo! and etc, who do help and they feel an honor to serve for National Security. Jawoco does feels an honor by helping in whatever sense we can but yet under our will! We cannot be forced nor be questioned but we know this much that Jawoco will and always have helpd the Internet World to make it a better Global Village.
Jawoco has in the past solved the virus issue on the blogs and also have resolved personal security issues on the user system whenever they reach to us. Jawoco Team alway guides and helps 24/7 to our or any users at this point, whether it is related to software security issue, spyware or so forth.
In the past 4 months, Jawoco was under an issue related to databases. We were asked to give everything we have got for the best interest of National Security. Jawoco then fought for it’s right to keep it’s database and help any Govt of the world at this point but won’t give our databases. Turns out to be a long story but to make it very very short, Jawoco has successfully come to this decision to help National Security but in our way, which is keeping Jawoco databases under Jawoco control like before. Else if we wouldn’t have fought for it, then we would have to give all the data and end up making a new server at this point and yeah trust me that is one hell of a job plus finance too!
Anyhow, after this issue we decided to re-launch Jawoco, as we did in September 2011 (past month) and by the Grace of Almighty Allah (GOD) we are on the right track and this time with innovation where other search engines are not into it, specially the Social Recommendation Platform in Jawoco Search. Jawoco will now continuously innovate and also you will see no server downtime, which you saw few days back.
I hope you understand the situation and also understand that this confidential thing was not disclosed until resolved and now that it has been resolved, I wished to share with you via this blog but yet keeping it confidential. Also that I hope now you understand why Imhalal.com Shutdown? I wish them to come back since it was a new innovative idea…. anyways, whatever happens, happens for good.

We are very happy to announce that now you can search the web, in more than 50 countries in any languages.
Users can search the web, images & videos country wise and along with that supporting all kinds of languages. The search engine will now search in any language that user types in the search box, which was not fully support firstly but now it is supported, as of today.
We expect users, now to search the web more easily country wise and set country as default on Jawoco. It will not change until you change it yourself or you delete the cookies from the web browser. Although, keeping the UI in mind, we have kept the transition of changing the country faster and simpler. The drop-down menu contains all the countries and once clicked, will immediately in 10 Milli-seconds will redirect to the selected country.
We hope you enjoy using this new feature and if you think your country is now available separately, then don’t think that because it is included in worldwide.

We have recently added major research papers databases which has increased the performance of accuracy for search term.
It was seen that students or scholars who came to search were actually having a bit issue, when it came to searching in more deeply manner. We got few queries and started working on it the same day. Robust energy was then developed in the Academia engine, as after working for 48 straight hours, Jawoco Academia became the behemoth of academia search, so far as we see it.
Academia currently indexes 89% of research papers and 11% patents but right now, we are more concerned with the research industry rather than patent or lawyers industry.
We would like to tell the following updates done in Academia Search:

We recently received loads of response regarding our Xtravo and out of which major issue was the bugs which slow browsing and along with that lack of features and support to Xtravo Browser.
We have taken this into account and we have actively started working on Xtravo 7 which will be surpassing version 6 due to the recently improvements which will be evolving in Xtravo 7. We are not going to unveil the improvements until finalized for the final version but we can surely say that Jawoco is putting the best team of developers worldwide to improvement Xtravo 7.
We are working on changing the platform along with new options and also the rendering engine to be shifted to Roki-engine which will make Xtravo 7 start-up faster than before. Currently, Xtravo will be focusing on it’s improvement in performance and once we are done completing this task, we will asap blog about it.
